Leaked: Barcelona 2012/13 Away and Goalkeeper Shirts

Spanish giants and arguably the best football team in Europe, Barcelona, is currently working hard to close down the gap with Real Madrid and retain the Spanish La Liga crown. By the 21st matchweek, Barcelona stand 7 points behind their arch-rivals from the capital city. Barcelona have won three leagues in a row between 2008 and 2011, and also won two UEFA Champions League trophies, in 2008/09 and 2010/11. Subsequently, they were also crowned World Club Champions in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2009 and recently in 2011, when in the latter case they beat Santos in the Final by the score of 4-0.

The shirts of Barcelona have been manufactured by Nike since the year 1998. Before the 2011/12 season, Barcelona had been turning down offers for corporate sponsorships of their shirts, until their financial situation put the club in a position where it could not resist the 150 million Euros over 5 years deal with Qatar Foundation. Above, you can see the new away and goalkeeper shirts of Barcelona for the 2012/13 season. Although these have not yet been made official, we have reason to believe that they are the actual shirts. The away shirt fades horizontally from orange on the upper part to yellow on the lower part. The Goalkeeper shirt on the other hand has a black base colour with a yellow band on the left sleeve and a yellow stripe on the right shoulder.

  8. Jarkko:

Looks more like a training kit….plus the black label on the inner collar makes me believe/hope it’s not true as all the sizing details are heat pressed on the shirts as opposed to having the labels sewn on.
