    Rubbish! Should read “Kitbag realise that because this shirt isn’t that nice and won’t be worn at a major tournament they need to give England fans an incentive to buy one”.

    My apologies admin! I thought it was a press release… Glad to see that cynicism is alive and well on these pages.
    I think it’s pretty poor of the FA/Umbro to not discount this shirt from the off. It’s almost as if they’re trying to ignore the fact that this shirt won’t be worn with pride by any England player at any major tournament. Make it £5 and provide a written apology from Barwick with each shirt saying ‘Here’s a cut price shirt as an apology for appointing McLaren as manger. We’re deeply sorry for the incompetence of our national team under him and that as a result we’ve ruined your summer. Yours, Brian Barwick on behalf of the FA.’
