Juventus announce 3 year deal with Fiat Group
Juventus have announced a new deal with Fiat Group which will see the Jeep brand gracing the Juventus shirts for the next 3 seasons.

The Jeep brand will takeover current sponsors Betclic and Balocco on the new Juventus home and away shirts.
The relationship between Juventus and Fiat goes back in years when in 1923 Edoardo Agnelli, Fiat’s vice president also became president of Juventus.
The club described this new agreement not just as a bond itself but ‘as a new beginning’.

As for details regarding the new Juventus home shirt, it will feature the traditional black and white stripes slightly thicker than the current shirt. It will have a round black collar and also an interesting detail is that it at the back of the shirt, the player number will appear in white on a black background.
As for the new away shirt, Nike has presented an elegant black shirt with two white bands on each sleeve.

Fiat also own Ferarri. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’d much rather have a shirt with Ferarri on the front of it than Jeep…
^^^ Think about it… By putting Jeep in their jerseys, thy might actually increase the Jeep sales, whereas rich peole buy ferraris cuz they have loads of money, whether they are on a jersey or not!
I’m speaking from a fans perspective rather, than as an advertising executive or a potential car-buyer.
So as a fan, you’ll feel a sudden rush of pride seeing your team being sponsored by Ferrari… I get it. But I’m sure not a lot of Juve fans will be in a rush to buy a Ferrari. As Alejandro pointed it out clearly, there’s no point in having Ferrari on the shirts. That’s irrelevant for business. Jeep on the other hand, it appeals to a different class of consumers.
Hey, I’m almighty. I can afford a Ferrari.
But on a serious note, who the hell takes “oh they sponsor my team” into account when buying a car? I just think it would make more sense to advertise an Itialian brand for an Italian team; and a shirt with a sports car on it looks classier than one with a jeep on it.
Too often, tacky sponsors ruin otherwise nice shirts (look at Hearts this year for example.) I thought it would make a nice change to have a sponsor that would actually improve the look of a shirt.
I can’t believe I’m bored enough to actually bother arguing this…
No mate, I completely see your point here. Besides the Toon, I follow a Latin American team so every season I have to bear the torture of seeing how yet another perfectly fine shirt gets butchered by an oversized logo of an obscure bank. Anyway, I gave up on understanding how corporate thinking works in this matter. If they believe that brand association with Jeep works best for them, then so be it. I mean, clubs nowadays are brands themselves so there is a whole corporate identity associated to them. I’m just glad it isn’t Dacia on their shirts
