Japan: Sagan Tosu 2013 Warrior Home, Away and Goalkeeper Kits

Sagan Tosu is a Japanese football club from the Saga Prefecture. It participates in the top league in Japan, the J League Division 1. In the 2012 season, the team ranked 5th in the table after being promoted to the top division from the J League Division 2 in 2011. This was quite an achievement for Sagan, which had never played in the top league ever since they were founded in 1997. Their home stadium is called Tosu Stadium and it has a capacity of 24,000.

This is the set of new kits to be used during the 2013 campaign. The shirts are manufactured by Warrior, which are also the manufacturers of English Premier League club Liverpool’s kits. The home shirt is light blue with a pink collar and pink details on the sleeves and shoulders. The white shirt with pink details on the shoulders and sleeves is the club’s new away shirt. A pink main goalkeeper kit was launched alongside a green secondary goalkeeper kit. The shorts and socks complementing all four shirts match the respective main colour of the shirt. The shirt sponsor is DHC.

    1. Ur Mum:

Looking at these kits just make me feel so sorry for liverpool.

    2. Garry:

Be afraid Liverpool fans… Be VERY afraid!

    3. Augustus:

The current Liverpool home kit looks like its going to be as good as it gets.

    4. Rob:

Even in an age of crazy wages for top flite footballers whatever Sagan Tosu pay their players, it should be more, much more!

    5. Vern Fonk:

Wait till you see the monstrosities the scouse are bringing out. Truly pitiful.

    6. Batista:

Ah, the 2nd and the 3rd kit. I LIKE!

    7. BringBackSaint&Greavsie:

      My eyes!!!!!!!!

    8. rooney is soooo ugly:

get lost warrior . u are rubbish

    9. Golem25:

adidas and Nike defence forces out in… well, force today. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out if that’s the reason for all the hate, or the fact that Warrior sponsor Liverpool. I couldn’t care less about that team, but I like good quality and well-designed kits! And Warrior is more than welcome to battle with the traditional manufacturers!

    10. El Patriato:

if i was in a one on one situation with the goalie i would easily do a torres !! WTF were they thinkin!!?!??

    11. asdf:

This stuff seems rather wacky, but that kind of thing is usually really big in Japan. Go look at shirts from the J-League over the past 15 years. There have been some incredibly “out-there” designs.

    12. Matt Daug:

Seriously though… what the f*** is up with the tribal and the epileptic lighting designs?

    13. Mitchivic:

That’s just a horror show really but what can you do with those colours!
