Japan should stick to the current one.

Why those black duct tape lines?

I was happy to hear Scotland were goin to be made by Adidas, not so sure now after seeing this effort, bring back Diadora all is forgiven!

widespread, well it not been used for argentina germany france mexico… thus far

Those “tape lines” are actually TPU strips. adidas uses this technology (called PowerWeb) in its undershirt/short designs, as it is designed to improve performance through proper muscle support and posture.

It is a bit odd to see them using this in their jersey design.

its gonna look stupid when u print their names on the back with that affect on the back of the top

Don’t worry there are three versions. This is the techfit version, while there is also a formfitting version which looks like a replica but a bit tighter on the end of the sleeves, without any of the techfit “tape” you all are talking about. Then the replica which looks like a normal jersey.

horror show…is that pattern for real? Why not sew in a bouquet of red and pink longstems or some sakura petals as well? This is the uniform of battle against the top clubs in the world?…wise up.
Adidas should go back to classic styles of the 1980s…keep it simple
We can only hold out hope for a decent away jersey

I like it – it looks aggressive in an “imperial” sort of way.

  17. maxi said,

i really like this one, actually – the red and the sublimated design in particular.
i think the power strips look HORRENDOUS though. i only saw part of the eire-france match, and it looked wretched with the numbers on the back.
    germany’s don’t have them, apparently.
