Italy & Puma extend shirt deal

Posted on March 28th, 2007 in Italy by 01news

The Italian FA (FIGC) and Puma have extended the German shoe and sportswear company’s shirt sponsorship of the World Champions till 2014. Puma will therefore be producing the national team’s shirts for Euro 2008 in Switzerland & Austria, the South African World Cup in 2010, Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup.

Continuing the tie between the two that started in 2003, Italy’s national men’s and women’s teams will continue to wear the Puma made shirts, clothing & accessories, as will the Italian Beach Soccer and Futsal teams.

The adidas kits are a bit chavy and most of the nike kits aren’t much better. Puma imo make the nicest looking kits.
