Ipswich Town Special 3rd Shirt

For Boxing Day’s match against Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town will wear a special kit, as both the blue home shirt and the red away shirt clash with Crystal Palace’s striped red and blue shirt. The shirt is manufactured by Mitre and has a white base colour with a red stripe detail running from the left side of the collar across the chest down the right side of the shirt, and another red stripe on the left side of the shirt. The sleeves have black edges, and black piping borders the red details, and runs across the left shoulder.

This special shirt will not be made available for purchase yet, but there exists the possibility that it will be used again next season. Another match where this shirt will be used in the current season will be the match against Scunthorpe whose date is set to be rearranged. The match against Crystal Palace on Boxing Day kicks off at 1pm GMT.

    I love this shirt, hopefully it will go on sale as I would like to buy it. When our away top comes out for next season I’d like mitre to use this or something like it. It looked good with our away red shorts too. P.s we were unlucky with Steads sending off, it never was a red,I think we would have won with 11 men.
