Independiente home 07/08

The 2007/08 home shirt of Club Atlético Independiente de Avellaneda will use the new Umbro template, as seen on the recently released England shirt. The Argentinean football club’s kit is almost completly red with white sections under the arms and white borders edging the new trademark Umbro diamonds which extend from the collar over each shoulder. Umbro’s double diamond manufacturer’s logo appears over the right chest and the club CAI badge is on the left chest. Retail giant in Argentina Marquez is the shirt sponsor.

    Looks a bit like Liverpool’s 2004-06 home kit but the sections under the arms are too long and thin. Also does anyone know if Daniel Montenegro is staying at Independiente because apparently he’s going to sign a 6-year contract with Roma?
