Milan’s current shirt sponsor is bwin and since they played Real Madrid in the Champions League, who the latter also have bwin as their shirt sponsor, Milan were obliged to alter their shirt sponsor logo to at least advertise a product of the company they are sponsored from. It was due to this clause that Milan wore shirts displaying win.com (in the match they ultimately won), another product offered by bwin instead of the usual Bwin.com logo.

The clause states: If two clubs meeting in the competition have the same shirt sponsor, the home team may wear their regular sponsor advertising whereas the visiting team may only wear advertising for a product of the said sponsor. No identical advertising elements may appear on the shirts of the two teams in question. The visiting club must send a sample of such new shirts to the UEFA administration for approval.

Since Real Madrid will now visit the San Siro, they will now therefore be obliged to alter their own shirt sponsor.
