Hertha Berlin 08/09 home kit launched

Hertha Berlin launched their new home kit on Tuesday, and it seems to bear no differences to the leaked image that we revealed to you back in March. It was launched at the main train station in Berlin at the Washingtonplatz exit and Hertha stars Jaroslav Drobny, Patrick Ebert, Gojko Kacar, Rudolf Skacel, Steve von Bergen and Raffael were on hand to sign autographs for the fans.

The strip is a characteristically simple design from manufacturers Nike, comprising of a royal blue and white striped shirt, royal blue shorts and socks. The trim is used conservatively, with the club’s traditional third colour red featuring in the collar trim and at the sleeve ends as well as being used as the colour for the Nike logos on the shirt and shorts. German national railway company Deutsche Bahn’s logo features in the centre of the chest, with the club crest just above the heart.
