Hamburg European kit 08/09

German side Hamburg have revealed their European/third kit that the team will wear whilst competing in next seasons UEFA Cup.

The shirt is primarily Red. There is white piping down e sides of the shirt and also dark red down the sides of the shirt and around the collar. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Adidas, have their logo in the top centre of the shirt and have their three stripes down both sleeves in white. Th club sponsor, Fly Emirates, have their name written across the middle of the shirt also in white. The shirt will be worn with dark red shorts and red socks.

    pretty nice…but what is it about matching two shades of red (on kits with ‘Emirates’ sponsors)? I mean arsenal with their redcurrant stripe down the arm. It doesn’t match, it just looks funny, and yet…well it’s a risk so therefore I like it, I think.

    I love the black and white stripes around the top of the socks. It’s mental.

    I agree with mick, white shorts would be awesome with this. Even the same color red…but why the burgandy red??

    I guess it matches the little part on the side of the shirt, but come on, that just looks like ****.

    nice shirt but the dark red shorts make it look like they couldn’t find shorts to match the red of the shirt. Perhaps the shirt should have some more of the dark red in it.
