Greece: Panthrakikos FC Kits 2009/10

Posted on September 25th, 2009 in Greece by reddevilrooney

Panthrakikos FC is a Greek club playing in the top division in the country. It was promoted to the Greek Super League in the 2007/08 Beta Ethniki season, and played in the Super League 2008/09 for the first time in its history since 1963. Despite being newcomers, they proved that they are one of the best 16 clubs in Greece when they managed to stay in the division for the 2009/10 season. Panthrakikos ranked 11th (out of 16 teams) last season with 9 wins and 6 draws out of 30 matches. However, their start to the 2009/10 campaign couldn’t have been worse as they started with 4 defeats and scoring just one goal.

The shirts of Panthrakikos are manufactured and provided by Umbro for 2009/10 as they switched suppliers from last year’s Kelme. The shirt sponsor is Greek betting firm OPAP. The home shirt of the club is vertically striped all over in white and green, with a green collar, and is complemented by green shorts with minor white details on the sides, and white socks. The shorts and socks are retained for the away kit, but the away shirt has a white colour. The third kit comprises of a black shirt with grey details on the shoulders and side, black shorts and black socks.
