Greece: Larissa FC Kits 2009/10
Larissa FC is a Greek club based in the city of Larissa. It plays in the Super League Greece which is the country’s top division in the football system. They have won the Super League once in their history (since 1964) in 1988, and twice the Greek Cup in 1985 and 2007. Last season, they ranked 5th in the table with 12 wins and 13 draws from 30 matches. The Greek system puts the four teams ranking 2nd to 5th in a playoff to decide European qualification. Larissa ranked bottom of the 4-team mini-table, and hence went into the Europa League’s Second Qualifying Round. They were beaten in this round by Icelandic club KR Reykjavik by an aggregate of 3-1 to cut their 2009/10 European adventure very short. They have failed to win one of their first four Super League 2009/10 matches as they drew twice and lost twice.

Larissa’s shirt manufacturers are renowned German brand Adidas, and the shirt sponsors are On Telecoms. Adidas use a dark brownish-red colour, which may be called oxblood, for the Larissa home kit. The template used for the home shirt includes white trademark stripes on the sleeves and shoulders, white details on the sides and on the chest and underarms. The shorts and socks are also oxblood with minor white details. The away kit uses the same shorts as the home kit but different shirt and socks. The shirts has a white base colour, just like the away socks, and has oxblood trademark stripes and most of the collar. A short oxblood stripe extends from the collar to the shoulder, while a longer oxblood stripe runs across the chest and down the right side of the shirt.
