The morning of Tuesday April 1st saw Getafe CF and Joma have unveiled the kit to be worn by Getafe for their upcoming Copa Del Rey Final. The shirt is seen modelled below by (from left to right) club captain David Belenguer, Roberto Abbondanzieri and Mario Cotelo.Getafe Copa Del Rey Final kitGetafe Copa Del Rey Final kit

“It was a way to pay homage to the colours of the current season, the colours that distinguish Getafe in the 2007/08 season,” explained President Ángel Torres Sánchez to the media.

The kit retains the traditional base colour of blue, but instead of the usual secondary colour of red, yellow has been made more dominant due to the success experienced in their yellow third kit this season. Red is still featured, however only in a highlight across the chest.

That lonsdale talk is a load of rubbish. Only the away and 3rd shirts are on sale as they are every year. Home Kit still full priced and labelled “07/09″

Does all the additional sponsorship actually work. Baring your own non-premier league team does anybody actually know which company names appear on the rear of shirts and shorts for the coke league clubs?

Also surely sponsoring companies want exclusive rights, if my company was one of three I’ld expect reduced rates from sole sponsor.

Shirt sales could also be affected who would buy the shirt of a French or Swedish shirt with their blitz of logos.
