Germany World Cup 2010 Away shirt Leak
New images have been leaked which show Germany’s new away shirt, which the team will wear for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa this summer. The three times winners are in group D and will face Australia, Serbia and Ghana.

The shirt is mainly all Black. The collar is red and there is red piping around the left sleeve and down the sides of the shirt. The team badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Adidas, have their logo in the top centre of the chest in gold and have their three stripes down each sleeve in gold.

one of the best world cup kits…
JUST. AWESOME!
Germany’s shirts are the best WC shirts by a landslide!
Die Mannschaft FTW!
I’d love to see the new Scotland kit done with this sort of design
Very nice shirt but i prefer the home shirt.Bring back the classic green away shirt for Germany.
it is a nice shirt. But they should bring back traditional green.
Not keen on the shirt itself, but I LOVE the idea of putting the year inside the winners stars.
very nice but it is not fit for me,so big.
It’s a beauty, but a return to the old green shirts would be nice. Adidas seem to pull out all the stops for their own national side.
This is a great looking top, but I too would like a return to the green away top next time.
The green shirt will never ever return, as it simply did not sell well. As simple as that. You may think, green means history and represents glorious penalty glory against England in 1990, or the victory at Wembley in 1972 that lead to the Trophy a few weeks later.
BUT: it was NOT the shirt, but the fantastic variety of class players germany had and is slowly to get back in the next years. It has got nothing to do with color if shirts or things like that. That is pure superstition.
Green never fitted to germany and looked utterly crrap, so i hope it will never ever appear again. Black and red shirts, which by the way sell like hotcakes, are looking classy and fashionable. And you can not blame the DFB nor Adidas for producing shirts that sell and earn a proper amount of money, instead of serving a handfull of traditionalists that do want to have green shirts.
Face it, green will NOT return. Never ever, cos it looks ****. Most of the football shirts in europe(CLUBS AND COUNTRIES)are red-white, blue-white….style. For hinstoical but also fashion reasons.
very nice shirt
They are going to attract the heat so much in that kit

You´re right, so happy enough the WC takes place in winter and temperatures are very low + rain and a possibility of having frost at night. i´ll tell you a secret:
The world is a globe and it is divided up into a northern hemisphere and a southern hemisphere. Whereas we Germany, England, Euro, USA…..have summer from may-august(roughly) cos we are the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere is vice versa. So in June, July there´s winter in South Africa(which is surprisingly located at the?????……………….southern hemisphere…..very good!!!!)
Weather in South Africa will not be comparable to the recent european winter but to european autum. So, black wont attract nothing and i bet we will see a lot of players wearing gloves and longsleeved shirts.
BET?
like a liverpool template…
like a liverpool home kit..

such a unique perception, why not have it post twice then
Hey, can somebody explain me why the Mannschaft used to play in green when they were still West Germany and why DDR used blue for their home kits? If there is somebody from Germany here
Nice kit anyway. Greetings from Bulgaria !
..I mean if there was something symbolic in these colors (Like the sky blue about the Italians and orange about the Dutch).

green is the color of the German Football Federation. It was founded in Leipzig 1900 or so and as a reminescence they chose green, the color of the local club(near the pub the federation was founded)
Some say it has been because of the irish playing against germany after the war, but that is wrong!
I have no idea why DDR played in blue and not in…..red…i´d suggest. Am westgerman and not too firm about eastgerman football!
italy , germany ,holland should play in colours off there national flag . nice kit !

Does anyone know if Adidas plans to market the Techfit version of Germany away?
There is no doubt that the English national team jersey is the most nice one and also top seller on the FIFA2010Products

Do you know Wayne? Because Wayne interessierts!
Who cares which shirt is beautiful and sold how much.
Or is this thing about size of pexxises??
There is also no doubt that there german national shirt has 3 stars more, than the english, and if you´d be allowed to have stars for European Champions Trophes, things would evene be worst for you!

Its a shirt…thats it. U honestly think adidas care about history? not a chance. Adidas hire a team to analysis whats popular in the world and what they have seen sells well. Adidas then use this information to create something they think will sell well. If pink was gonna make them millions, u better believe they’d make it pink. Its all about a profit, and if u make a nice shirt in the process thens thats good, but its all about then money

Alessandro am absolutely on your opinion, no doubt about it. I was just counterattacking the “measuring the pe.is lenght attempt by the fellow english collegue. The whole shirt issue is something i object to, anyway. 70 € for a piece worth 5 €…… i can hardly imagine an item with a gap that hughe and a profit margine of that size.
its ssss-hhhhh-iiiii-tttttttt
Nice kit, like the idea of the years in the stars. You’re all idiots, just say whether you like the kit or not.
i fink the kit is s***!
Jeeeeeeeeze… Got a bit of a history lesson from all the comments when i viewed this shirt. – which is Minted btw.
