Images from the photo-shoot to promote Germany’s Euro 2008 shirt were seen back in September, the kit has now been officially launched and we have a close up shot of the new German kit.

08/09 Germany Shirt & Shorts

Germany Home Shirt & Shorts 2008/09

The shirt is white with adidas three stripes in black over the shoulder and their logo just beneath the collar. The German football federation have their logo on the right chest and this is outline with black, which then moves across the shirt with a thick black horizontal stripe which is curved around the badge. This thick black stripe is outlined at the bottom with a red and then a yellow stripe, using the colours of the German flag. There are three gold stars above the German badge and the thick black stripe, to signify their three world cup wins.

The white German home shirt is to be worn with black shorts which have the adidas three stripes in white down the sides, the German badge is on the right thigh, with three gold stars above it again and the adidas logo appears again on the left thigh in white.
