Fulham Away shirt 08/09

Fulham F.C. have revealed their new Away shirt for 08/09 season which is made by Nike.

The shirt is a traditional Fulham away shirt colour of Red and Black. The left half of the shirt is black and the right half of the shirt is right. The left sleeve is all red and the right sleeve is all black. The collar is black. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Nike, have their logo on the right of the shirt in white. The club sponsor, LG, have their name and logo across the middle of the shirt.

The shirt can be pre-ordered from 30th of July through the club website for delivery before the 14th of August.

    Awesome kit Fulham. This one should be your home shirt… there are already enough clubs in England with plain white shirt and black shorts as their home colours.

    nicest kit in the premiership so far. Nicest nike kit. I love that collar. And simple, yet not boring. So many kits are simple and plain and dull, but I like this one. And the halves thing, yes just like several blackburn kits, but so what, blackburn’s ‘halves’ styles are cool.

    Any number of teams could claim the red and black halves as their own, but none would probably be right. Blackburn’s is very recent, Fulham had a red & black away back in the mid 80s, and wore red & white halves originally as Rovers did blue & white. Coventry City (founded 1883) wore red & black halves as a very early kit, when they were still called Singers FC but it was dropped quite quickly, and I think returned recently as an away kit for their 125th anniversary.

    My money for team most associated with red & black halves would be Newell’s Old Boys.

    Blackburn can’t claim these colours as their own. Fulhams colours are white black and red so they have more claim to this colour kit then Blackburn do.
