Four new Real Zaragoza shirts for 2007
To celebrate their 75th anniversary Real Zaragoza have announced four Mercury made shirts they will be wearing till December when they will start to wear Adidas produced kit. The shirts have a special club badge on the left chest and wording above the Telefonica sponsor to signify the seventy-five year anniversary.
In August and September Zaragoza will be wearing a shirt similar to that they wore when the first played in Spain’s Primera Division. In October they will wear a 1960s shirt which they wore to wins in the Copa del Rey and the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in an era that saw the side nicknamed los Magnificos.
The third home shirt announced is a replica of the shirt they wore when winning the UEFA Cup Winner’s Cup in 1995, which they will wear in November. From September to December the club’s away shirt will be a black and yellow striped kit that has the colours Iberia FC wore before they combined with Real Zaragoza CD in 1932 to form the Real Zaragoza of today.
