This will be the 14th Middlesbrough home and away kit in as many seasons. And people say United change their kit too often!

  6. Nick said,

every team has a new kit this season due to the name/number font change from the premier league. teams are allowed to change the kit every 2 season but they always change sponsor/supplier/other factor in between to keep shovelling them out. MONEY!!!

  7. randhir said,

basically man utds kits of last season!
and d king gd post mate. now everyone can shut up saying united always changing their kit.

  8. wolvesfan said,

Boro didnt disapoint as usual, in a season where over half of the Premiership kits look terrible.

  9. D King said,

The home is so uninteresting and looks recycled. The away is quite interesting. If the white was red and the green white it would look like good home shirt. (shame Errea don’t have rigid templates like Umbro and Adidas.

  10. ganty said,

Tim i agree, not only is it the 14th set of kits, there all below standard and are way over priced!

  11. ganty said,

any idea when they r out?

  12. jak said,

why are all of yous dissing boro their a good team better than “the toon” and also the kits are v.nice so leave it.

  13. Dave H said,

I think the kit looks nice, lets just hope the sleeves aren’t as long as in previous seasons. Wed o however change both strips every season which seems a bit harsh on the fans, and its never out early either!!!

  14. Mark said,

Its facinating, showing this list of teams and there kit changes. But how can birmingham be top? They’ve only had 2 or 3 kits in the premiership? because they’ve only had a few seasons in the premiership? How does that work?

  15. Smoggie’sArUs said,

I think that this seasons home kit is terrible, its too plain, we are trying to be liverpool by the looks of it, we change our badge to one similar of liverpools, make our kit look more or less the same, im surprised our new sponsor isnt Carlsberg.

  16. Andy said,

I thought there was some rule that said teams weren’t allowed to change their kit every season, or at least had to give a “sell by date”, i.e. how long the kit would remain before being changed. Obviously, this doesn’t seem to have been officially put in place otherwise teams would not be able to change their kit every season. Certainly the England kit is only ever changed every two years and does include a “sell by date”. Anyone shed any light on this rule or am I talking sh!te again?

  17. Lew said,

ffs, you arent actually obliged to go out and buy a new kit every season, i see hundreds of fans wearing old shirts at the stadium. if you don’t agree with it or cant afford it, dont bother!
as for the price of the kits, they arent that expensive, anyone can easily save 80quid over the course of a year to buy them, how about anyone who doesnt actually need their 4×4’s sell them and use the money £200 or so you would save on road tax…. not saying that this will apply to everyone, but i you get my point. this world is crackers!

anyway the new kits look orite, will grow on most people im sure, lets hope we can play some decent football next season!

  18. kyle said,

they all look the same change the sponsor fgs!!!

    Arrraaagh!!!

Gibbo doesn’t take any money out of the club. He doesn’t even take a wage.
The Errea deal makes the most money for the club by cutting out the middle man. This has to be a good thing for the club.
