Finland Home Shirt 2010/12
Finland, which are currently ranked 54th in the latest February 2010 FIFA rankings, have unveiled the new home shirt to be used between 2010 and 2012. The national team of Finland did not qualify for the 2010 World Cup from their Qualifying Group which included Germany, Russia, Wales, Azerbaijan and Liechtenstein. They finished four points behind Russia, which went through to the Second phase of qualification, being a knock-out stage, and were knocked out by Slovenia on away goals. In their history, Finland have never qualified for a major tournament (World Cup or European Championship).

Adidas used the same template that they used for the Greek home shirt for the World Cup. It involves the shirt being divided in three: a patch on the left shoulder, the main body part, and another patch on the right bottom-corner. The former and latter are blue in the case of the Finnish new home shirt, while the main body part is white. The Adidas trademark stripes on the right shoulder are blue, while on the left side they are white, to stand out from the blue shoulder patch. Adidas’ logo is blue on the right side of the chest, while the Finnish crest is placed on the left side of the chest on the blue patch. Finland will use this shirt for the qualifying stage of Euro 2012, to be co-hosted by Ukraine and Poland.

Different. Don’t know if it looks wrong or cool.
Looks like they couldnt decide on the colour, so they just went “eh proper good idea…why dont we just incorporate both take a blue shirt & white shirt, cut them up & sew them together. Done.”
…looks awful…
At least it’s imaginative…
unusual but its not great. ok
Do they have a new badge?? Did not know…
Looks cool, i thought they get the 0815 template like Ukraine,Romania in plain white with blue trim.
I think i like it!
