Fiat to Sponsor Juventus Shirts

Juventus New SponsorStarting 1st July 2007 Juventus will be sponsored by Italian car giant Fiat, after a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two for FIAT to be the official sponsor of the football club for the next three years.

Talks with current sponsor Tamoil, the chain of petrol stations had ended last year after Juventus had been relegated to Serie B as part of the match fixing that was discovered in the Italian game.

The sponsorship will be €33 million over the three years, with bonuses for performance in domestic Italian League & Cups as well as European competition.

Juventus shirts will bear the logo of New Holland in 2007/08 which is Fiat’s heavy machinery brand.
