Posted on January 9th, 2008 in Feyenoord by admin

Here are the shirts that Dutch side Feyenoord will wear for the 2008/09 Eredivisie season to commerorate their Centenary, they were founded on the 19th of July 1908. Both the home and away shirts have gold embroidery around the Feyenoord Rotterdam club badge a tradition which has been brought back, something the clubs supporters had been asking for.

The shirts are manufactured by Kappa and sponsored by Fortis who as well as having their logo on the front of the shirts have it on the shirt sleeves. The home kit is red and white halves, with even the collar being split, whilst the away shirt is green with white sleeves and a white collar.

The new green and white away shirt is inspired by the one worn by the team in 1970 when they won the European Cup, beating Glasgow Celtic in extra time at the San Siro in Milan, Italy.
