FC Porto 2012/13 Home and Away Kits
FC Porto is a Portuguese football club from Northern Portugal. It plays in the Primeira Liga, the top league in the country, and its home stadium is the Stadium of the Dragon (Estadio do Dragao), with a capacity of 52,000. The club has won 26 Portuguese league titles, including back-to-back titles in the last two seasons (2010/12). The club has also won the European Cup of 1986/87 as well as the competition renamed to UEFA Champions League in 2003/04 (under the guidance of Jose Mourinho), the UEFA Cup of 2002/03 and the renamed competition to Europa League in 2010/11. They also won the Intercontinental Cup twice, in 1987 and 2004.
These are the new home and away kits that Porto will use for the 2012/13 season. The kits are manufactured and supplied by Nike. The home shirt is sponsored by MEO while the away shirt is sponsored by TMN. The home shirt has a white body with two blue patches on the flanks. The sleeves are white with dark blue sleeve hems, and the crew neck collar is also dark blue. The away shirt body is horizontally striped in two shades of purple, with the lighter shade featuring on both sleeves. The crew neck collar of the away shirt is purple and the sleeve hems are black. The home shorts are dark blue while the away shorts are black.

These last 2 seasons, Nike has made great kits for my team FC Porto, especially last year’s. But I am sorry, Nike have disappointed me here. FC Porto is supposed to have multiple stripes on their kits. This is just lazy work from Nike. Absolutely rubbish, or “um pedaço de merda” as they would say here in Portugal.
I always love the porto shirts and these are no exception. the only problem i have is the shorts for the home shirt should be the same blue as the shirt.

@Carillo Porto classic shirt is with 2 blue stripes not multiple.
It reminds me the 2007 and 2010 shirt but the big white stripe is something new as the dark blue shorts.
Ok not so beautiful but a little bit different from the past shirts.
I think the first kit is the worst that nike made for Porto. It reminds me a kit from our cycling team that we had in the 70′s
At least the box from the sponsor was removed. The shorts should be the same color as the shirt
The away kit is nice but the sponsor’s box ruins it. The color is the same as in the away kit from 2003/04 when we won the Champions League for the second and last time
really used to love porto kits from last seasons but this year nope!! the home is abso hideous and the away the story of an over used template!! a real let down!!

The White is too wide imo, and the swoosh and different shorts make it look like a bodge job.
Same for the away, the black shorts don’t go with the two tone purple, so overall these are pretty nasty
There isn’t exactly a shortage of Iberian teams wearing blue and white stripes. It’s nice to see one team doing it differently.
Really like the away shirt… The home shirt is more or less the same template as the inter home, just that inter have got a blue stripe down the centre of the other 2… I think if Nike had gone Barca style with the gradient stripes we would all be loving it…
