H
Good that most fans want plain simple shirts without the panels.
Striped backs of shirts are quite rare I guess due to numbers, names and sponsership being clearer.

I get the idea that giving the fans the choice between these kits is in response to the critisism by Lincoln City fan's of their team's 2007/08 Umbro kits. A lot of that stemmed from the fact that the back of the shirt was solid red when traditionally it had been striped like the front of the shirt. The kit's didn't sell very well as a result (and possibly because most people in Lincoln seem to support Liverpool for some unknown reason).

Giving the fans a choice like this (even though a few of the designs are very similar) is the way forward, and I like to see the manufacturers do this with the bigger clubs too.

unrelated to exeter, but some news for you if you want it.
T-mobile is to exit as sponsor of West Bromwich Albion from the end of this season. The club are currently in dicussions with companies at both a national and international level with a view to taking over T-Mobile
