Everton 2008/09 Home & Away shirt leaked

Leaked photographs have been revealed of what appears to be the Everton home and away shirts for next season.

The Home shirt is Evertons colours of Blue, The shirt has white piping around the collar and down each side of the shirt. The club’s badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Umbro, have their logo on the top right of the shirt. The sponsors, Chang, have their name and logo in the centre of the shirt. The shirt also has the words: “Its a grand old team to play for” across the inside bottom of the shirt, this was the part of the shirt that was given away in the clubs teaser photo of the shirt. The home shirt will be officially revealed this Friday.

The away shirt is primarily white. There is a black and grey band running across the chest and black piping around the collar of the shirt and the ends of the sleeves. The club’s badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Umbro, have their logo on the top right of the shirt. The shirt also has the same saying, “Its a grand old team to play for”, as the home shirt on the bottom inside of the shirt. This is a leaked picture and it is unknown when of if the shirt will be revealed.

    When will Bill realise that in order to market ourselves to a wider audience we need a nike a major player to take us to another level and create revenue, these kits are appalling our own fans wont buy these bad boys!

    The back is the same as the red England shirt, OK, but does not make the neutral rush out and by it. At least it is blue.

    OMG! The fake collar thing is ugly. A copy of the old Diadora shirt designs. Wake up Umbro!
    Why can’t we have our own unique shirts instead of using generic Umbro designs? Just by sticking the “Its a grand old team to play for” onto the shirt doesn’t make them unique.

    The sooner Everton get rid of umbro the better. Iv’e gotten increibly bored of the Umbro designs. We need Nike or Adidas. They’re the quality designs out there! But i do like the stiching in the inside of the shirts. Blue nose for life!

    The design on the back is naff. Really 80’s. The away shirt isn’t nice. But then again the 2007/2008 away shirt wasn’t the best. The home shirt looks ok other than the design on the back. The ‘It’s a grand old team to play for’ on the tag is a nice touch. Still prefer this season just gones shirt though. I liked the yellow around the neck.

    wHY IS EVERYOE COMPLAINING THAT THE HOME ONE IS THE SAME? If last years and the year before thats kits were nice and the one this year is the same then doesn’t that make them good aswell? I like them both they’re class, agree witht the fella up there though^^^ the third kit from last year was immence shud of used that as the away kit.

    Won’t be buying new home shirt. Well, maybe when it’s £13.49 in Sport Direct next May, but it’s too similar to previous one. However, to say it is disgusting is a bit strong. Bland though. Think I’d need to see away shirt at first hand though, because the colours in the picture don’t look quite right

    i like the home shirt… it seems more old school than previous designs, which i think is nice…

    i like the away shirt aswell!! its a nice change… think we should keep the third kit aswell because it’s mint!!

    and enybody who says the material on umbro designs is taccy is wrong!!! i have the new everton home shirt abd it is alot better than last years material!!
