Umbro reveal England Away Shirt 08/10
Pictures of England in training wearing the new away shirt have been published and this video is on youtube, showing Sky News reporting on the launch.
The only suprise on the shirt is the navy panels just beneath the shoulders and the lack of Umbro diamonds over the shoulders.
The shirt has a throwback look to England’s 1982 Admiral made shirts for the World Cup in Spain that year, take a look at the images below to see the comparision.

Y’know, I think I like it. Part of me says I shouldn’t, but I do…
good kit, dont know what jjb are moaning about
definatley looks like the ‘82′ kit. i like it. first away kit in a long time to feature more than red and white.
its different from the past, but a good difference, especially as the template is original/new from umbro!
jjb were obviously trying to back out of they contract because they are poor salespeople.
I remember last year someone tipping-off that this kit would be inspired by the ‘82 kit, but I cannot remember who or where. So thanks for the tip if you read this.
Nice kit
nice
peter a couple of weeks ago you said there was a different away kit
alright but i think it could be better… still gonna by it though
it looks alright but a bit plain
luv this kit! nd even if it was **** i wud buy it simply bcus its an england shirt nd i luv england!
looks lush
dont like england an wont buy it.
but it looks ugly. its not that similar to the 82 one. And: you can not copy succes (well if you call that success)by shirts, that look like the ones, back in the days.
You look like cheap version of norway
The england team will once again be a force to be reckoned with, weve got a manager with a fantastic CV, hes done wonders all over the world, and now hes got the worlds best players to kick into gear!
I like it. Bring back Beckham.
I prefer the original 1982 Red away top it has a classic look that is captured in time. The England 1982 Shirt Home top was amazing too.
Yeah, I like the Away England 1982 Shirt better and The Home England 1982 Shirt.
Not bad but couldn’t they have kept the last shirt for 1 more season? It seems that every other campaign the badge moves to the centre.
