Egypt African Nations’ Cup Shirt

Puma designed this shirt for the Egyptian team to wear during the African Cup of Nations. The holders of this competition are aiming to hold on to their title of African champions.

Nine of the 16 teams participating in the Africa Nations’ Cup had their kit designed by Puma. This Egypt shirt is rather simple. It is plain red, with a black stripe on each side of the shirt, going up from the bottom to the end of the sleeve. It has the Puma symbol on both shoulders and also on the right-hand side (when worn) of the shirt.

2008 Egyptian Home Kit

This shirt is part of the PUMA v1.08 collection, launched last month (January 2008). Puma has improved freedom of movement that the shirt allows to the players and a better fit. The inner layer of the material has small holes, and absorbs the player’s sweat. The outer layer is ideal to print player names and numbers.
