Dundee United special kit for Dundee FC friendly
Dundee United FC is a Scottish Premier League club from the fourth-largest city in Scotland, Dundee City. In the past season, the club ranked 5th in the Scottish table and in their history have only won the Premier League once in 1982/83. They have reached the semi-final of the European Cup in 1983/84 and ranked as runners-up in the 1986/87 UEFA Cup. A record which they hold up to this very day is winning all games played against Spanish titans and current European Champions Barcelona.

The club organised a friendly against local rivals Dundee FC on the 10th November to mark the club’s capital expenditure of £270000 on a new floodlight system, and also to help both club’s youth academies. The gate receipts were split between the two clubs to help improve their youth footballing policy. The game was won by Dundee United by the score of 3-1, with the Dundee United goals coming from Andis Shala, Jon Daly, and Danny Cadamarteri. The latter was voted man of the match as his pace and power tormented the opposition. A special shirt was used for this match which was offered to fans at the beginning of the season in anticipation of this match. The shirt is manufactured by Nike and sponsored by Carbrini. It has a black base colour with white front details, a white V on the chest with orange details, an orange crew neck collar and orange sleeve edges. Black shorts and orange socks complete this special kit.

What is all the writing on the front?
