Debreceni VSC Adidas Home and Away Shirts 2009/10
Debreceni VSC is a Hungarian club which will make its debut in the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League. The club earned this right to participate after winning its domestic league, the Soproni Liga or the Hungarian National Championship, and participating in three qualifying rounds: the Second Qualifying Round, the Third Qualifying Round and the Play-off Round. On their way to the group stage they beat Kalmar FF (Sweden) on away goals, Levadia (Estonia) and Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) respectively. It is a great reward to be playing in the biggest competition in Europe, but clearly a deserved one, as the club has won the Hungarian title three times in a row between 2004 and 2007, ranked as runners-up in 2007/08, and won the title again last season to qualify for the Qualifying Round 2. Before 2004, the club had never won the Hungarian title, ever since it was founded in 1902.

Their adventure in the Champions League will be extremely difficult as they have been drawn against three teams which are generally considered to be much better than them in Group E: Liverpool, Olympique Lyon and Fiorentina. They will start their first ever match in the group stage on Wednesday 16th against Liverpool at Anfield. The shirts of Debreceni are manufactured by Adidas, using practically the same template for both the home and the away shirts. Their shirts are sponsored by TEVA and AVE. The home shirt has a plain red base colour with a red collar. There are white details on the shoulders including the tradition 3 stripes of Adidas, and thin stripes. These colours are switched for the away shirt, which is white, with red details on the shoulders.

I Think there is some room for one more sponsor down at the bottom maybe squezze it in what ya think ?
Again this is the same kit they used last season, just they will use a version with a lot less sponsors in the CL.
what a horrible mess !
surely that template is too overused now!
Is that a football kit or a NASCAR kit? Make up your mind, Debreceni!
For a minute I thought they forgot to put the club badge on, then I realised it’s squeezed into the armpit of the shirt. Shocking amount of sponsors really.
dont really like it never heard of the team before the champions league draw!
Not too many sponsors but yeah, they probably won’t have THAT many in the Champions League, but still…There’s no need for that amount of sponsors!! It’s like an advertising board!
I think the color of the sponsors give the shirt life, unless you want it to be another plain shirt..ZZZzzzz losers
You know what would rule? If the inside of the shirt had one of those upside-down faces like the Burger King, only it was someone’s face covered in all the ads on the outside part.
Which one is the badge?
way to cheap…
