Coventry City 125th anniversary home kit vote
Next season, Coventry City FC will be celebrating their 125th anniversary. To commemorate this event, the club has issued a special crest and is asking the supporters’ opinion to decide on this historical season’s home kit. The manufacturers of the Sky Blues’ kits are Puma, which presented Coventry with a number of home kit options. Due to the unsettlement at the start of this year, it wasn’t possible that the full decision is taken by the fans. Therefore, the board reduced the selection to two kits. Supporters are invited to vote according to their preference, with their decision being final.
The choice involves two very similar kits. Both feature the traditional white and sky blue stripes. Fans are invited to email their preference to customerservice@ccfc.co.uk stating either Kit A or Kit B. The kits are the following:
Coventry’s 2008/09 Home Shirt
Kit A
The kit has three sky blue stripes and four white stripes. The sleeves are sky blue and there are dark blue details of the part of the neck and on the end of the sleeves. The Puma logo appears on the right when worn, with the special club crest on the left. Shirt sponsors Cassidy Group’s logo appears in dark blue in the centre of the shirt.
Kit B
Everything on this shirt is the same as Kit A. However, the sky blue stripes have a dark blue line dividing them from the white stripes. All shirt details are the same as Kit A.
Away shirt launched 12th July
The club announced also that it will be changing its away kit, after the present kit has been used for two years already. The away kit won’t be revealed until the official launch date, the 12th July 2008. The club encourages fans who have any ideas how the club can celebrate the anniversary better to send their suggestion to the Customer Service email address customerservice@ccfc.co.uk.

Ithink the badge should be the original elephant on the ball. 125 years anniversary - an other excuse to get money out of fans - regardless to what league we are in!
I hate stripes. Why do we have to have stripes again? What’s wrong with plain sky blue?!

Can’t quite understand why we are reverting to a “traditional” striped shirt. Much prefer plain sky blue. The current kit is the best for years and, if necessary, an updated version of this complete with anniversary badge would be a better option.

honestly striped shirts are by far the better version of coventry shirt and i think shirt B would make a superb strip, i also like the idea of the new badge for the season but i would also like to see the original badge somewhere ont he shirt

what about the shorts ? But kit b looks nicer 2 me as it stands out more than kit a !!!
