Colorado Rapids third kit 08/09
USA Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids have revealed a third kit that the Rapids will wear this third kit in all international matches and competitions moving forward made by Adidas.
The shirt is Pirmaily White. The collar is red and there is red piping ruuning from either side of the collar and down the sides of the shirt. The club logo is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Adidas, have their logo in the top centre of the shirt and also have thei three stripes ruuning down both sleeves in black. The team name, Colorado, is written across the middle of the shirt. The shirt will be worn with Burgundy shorts and white socks.
The Colorado Rapids will debut their new third on Wednesday, July 9, when they take on Mexico’s Tigres. This shirt is now available to buy but in limited inventory. Shirts can be bought from the clubs website and club stores.

True but the Rapids are out of the US Open Cup and did not qualify for any additional tournaments. Seems a bit gimmicky to me.
That being said. Nice kit.
The added red trim and are calling the color “Arsenal red” in honor of their partnership with Arsenal.
