Club Brugge 08/09 Third Kit

Posted on August 6th, 2008 in Club Brugge by Renato Siviero dos Santos

Puma launched the Third kit for Club Brugge:

The new kit is all brown, in colaboration with Puma, for the celebration of the 40th birthday of Puma’s oldest football boot, the Puma King.

This honour will be made by eight European teams sponsored by Puma, includding Club Brugge. Besides the kit, each team will have a special collection of extensive fan wear.

Each gearment will have two stripes, inspired by Johan Cruyff. In World Cup of 1974, Cruyff had a sponsorship deal with Puma, and refused to wear the 3-strip shirt which Adidas made for the Netherlands. The solution was to remove one strip, and Cruyff ended up playing with shirt with only two stripes.
