Chesterfield’s 2007/08 Shirts

Posted on September 27th, 2007 in Chesterfield by 01news

The Spireites wear shirts manufactured by Lotto in League Two of English football. The home shirt uses a template first seen on international shirts such as those for Ukraine with pointed sections of colour aimed at the section of the shirt. The main colour is the club’s traditional blue with the pointed sections of colour being both white and red. Centrally located on each of the club’s kit is the Lotto logo just beneath the collar, then the club badge beneath that and a large VK and the words Vodka Kick as the shirt sponsors logo.

The away shirt is white with with light blue vertical stripes which head up from the bottom of the front of the shirt but drift off to the right finishing on the left sleeve & shoulder, the third shirt is last season’s away kit with a red body and white sleeves, worn if there is a colour clash when playing away from Saltergate.

Hats off to Lotto for at least trying something different. Not sure if I like it though!
