Charlton Third Shirt?
In a friendly match against a selection from Gibraltar, Charlton made use of a new kit which may be the club’s new third kit for the 2008/09 season, although this has not yet been confirmed. In this match, played on Thurday 17th July, Alan Pardew’s army defeated the Gibraltar XI by 5-0. You can take a look at the full match report here.

The shirt is manufactured by Joma and has a navy blue base colour, with details in sky blue on the sleeves, shoulders, underarms and sides. On the chest, the shirt has a white&sky blue horizontal stripe. The shirt is complemented by black shorts with details in white and red on the sides. It may also be the case that Charlton Athletic used their training tops for this friendly as their home and away kits have not yet been unveiled.

it’s not. I’m a charlton fan and I can confirm that they all wore these during warm-ups in their recent pre-season friendlies. It is a training top and we only wore it because we did not take both of our new kits with us. You can see Jerome Thomas in the background wearing a fleece in the same style and colour, and you are not allowed to wear kits and training gear that are the same, in case of confusion. Charlton do not have new third kit this year, for teams that wear red and white stripes we will wear all white, or last years away kit.
that sounds correct, if you look the shorts don’t match with the top.
Really looks like training kits. Nice colours anyway.
thts right and even doesnt have any sponsor so there uis another reason
Did they have numbers on the back?
Presumably if they’re training tops, they wouldn’t have had.
Must have looked weird, as if Charlton couldn’t look any weirder.
Looks almost identical to Miami FC’s home shirt
