Charlton Athletic Home & Away kits 08/09
Charlton Athletic have signed an exciting sponsorship deal with the UK’s leading sports fashion retailer, JD Sports. The announcement was made on Friday morning as the two new kits that the Addicks will wear during the 2008/09 Championship campaign were unveiled. One of JD Sports’ youth fashion brands, Carbrini Sportswear, is emblazoned on the front of the jerseys under the agreement, and will become the predominant brand at The Valley.
The Home shirt is Charlton’s traditional colour of red. There are also white bands running horozontily across the top of the shirt, around the left shoulder and vertically down the left side of the shirt. The club’s badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Joma, have their name on the right of the shirt and their logo on the left sleeve. The clubs new sponsors, Cabrini, have their name across the centre of the shirt. The shirt will be worn with white shorts and white socks.
The Away shirt is primarily white, with black panels down the sides of the shirt and black panels on the sleeve. There is also a black and red band running across the chest. The club’s badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Joma, have their name on the right of the shirt and their logo on the left sleeve. The clubs new sponsors, Cabrini, have their name across the centre of the shirt. The shirt will be worn with black shorts and black socks.
too much white on the home, too much black on the away! I would like to see the hooped socks make a return too, not plain white! The away would look abtter as white and red, with black touchs. Hopefully it will grow on me. also, the sponsors only for one season, as we may ask for a more lucrative deal if we get promoted this season.

Both shirts look awful! The White paneling on the home shirt is all over the place, and the shorts look so long, the sponsor ruins both shirts as well

Good sponsor as well - JD Sports are a well known company and won’t go bust. If they do, we will have to put Crystal Palace on our shirts next season. Get it Palace, no didn’t think so

disgusting, 07/08 was really nice whereas this one just looks like something out the back of lilywhites. just literally looks tatty, almost like a training shirt. nasty.
