The shirt has the newly design club crest featuring a gold star unique to European cup winners and the text ’25 MAIO 1967 – LEÕES DE LISBOA – 40° ANIVERSARIO’ is featured around the crest. On the bottom left hem is the words “For it’s a grand old team to play for” and CELTIC 1967 and the word LISBON under a gold star are on the back of the neck. –1967–The Lisbon Lions 40th Anniversary–2007— is on the neckline, all is part of the club’s celebrations of their first European Cup win in 1967.

the shirt will end this season due to the 40 year celebrations being on it. Next year it’ll be 41
I never understood why they had the 40 years stuff on this shirt anyway – didn’t Celtic win the European Cup in the 1966/67 season? If so why celebrate it in the 2007/08 season?
