Aston Villa have unveiled their new home goalkeeper shirt for the 2008/09 Premier League season. The shirt is plain black with a white/silver swirl running from the back of the collar to the left pit.

The shirt is sponsored by local charity Acorns in a landmark Premier League deal.

This Sunday’s News of the World newspaper are reporting that Aston Villa will forgoe a shirt sponsorship deal next year and the £2million that could bring the club to have children’s hospice charity Acorns on the front of their shirts next season.
