Cambridge United 2007/08 Home Shirt

Cambridge United have a new home shirt and new kit sponsors. The U’s have returned to their distinctive black and amber stripes with this shirt that will last until the end of the 2008/09 season.

New main shirt sponsors at Cambridge are estate agency Haart and kit manufacturers Vandanel have their logo on the back of the shirt as sponsors as well as on the front on the right chest as kit makers.

Talking about the clubs return to stripes on the kit that haven’t been seen since 1995, Heather Wilkanowski, General Manager at Cambridge United said:

“We are aware that many supporters have been asking for a return to the black and amber stripe, so we are very pleased with the new design and are confident that it will be popular with the fan base.”

The new home kit will be worn for the first time when at Cambridge’s first Blue Square Premier home game of the season. The club will unveil the new away kit in two weeks.

    Good to see tradition maintained. How can a non-league team afford to keep the same kit 2 years, when Everton, Man City, Spurs, Villa, Birmingham, Barca, Real, Inter, AC, Juve. Fans should buy a shirts from clubs like Cambridge as the shirt is twice the value. Well done the U’s.

    good-looking shirt! and good to see a 2-year life span again. why waste (the fans’ money) on mediocre, over-hyped shirts every year?

    the shirts a classic, its good to see the traditional amber and black stripes aswell
