Burton Albion Home Shirt

Burton Albion is an English club based in Burton-upon-Trent, playing in the Conference National or as it is better known, the Blue Square Premier. The Brewers, as they are nicknamed, ranked 5th last season thus qualifying for the playoff for promotion to League Two. However, they lost in the playoff semifinal by an aggregate of 4-3 against Cambridge United. Hence, the club will remain in the Blue Square Premier next season.

Soon after the fixtures for 2008/09 were announced, the Brewers presented the new kits that they will be using for the upcoming campaign where they hope to do better and earn the much-desired qualification to League Two. The new home kit will again have a yellow base colour, but with a different shade than last season’s kit. The shirt is manufactured by TAG, which have their logo appearing on the right shoulder in black. The shirt has a circular collar which is partly yellow and partly white, with the white part extending around the chest. There are details in black and white on the sides of the shirt, while a black stripe appears on the sleeves. The shirt sponsors, Roger Bullivart, have their logo placed in the centre. Present for the unveiling ceremony were Hayley Wright (Commericial Manager of Burton Albion, seen on the left), Rob Brown (from Roger Bullivart, seen in the centre) and Nigel Clough (Player/Manager of Burton Albion, seen on the far right). The shirt was modelled by Olivia Brown. The new Burton Albion home kit will be available to purchase as from Monday 7th July, from the club shop.
