I like it – but am I alone in thinking football clubs should scrap ‘Boxed-sponsors’, they just don’t look right.

wow puma have more than one template,
i’m a blackburn fan and apart from our early kits, our shirts look wierd without boxed sponsers

At last, an original twist on what could have been another bland, striped shirt. Finally a manufacturer has realised that stripes don’t have to be the same width or regular, alternate colours. This is an original design which keeps the traditional red, white and black colouring. Nice black detailing, too. Great job, Puma!

Two comments: (1) it looks nice and I like it. (2) I totally agree with the comments on the “boxed” sponsors. These kits are not cheap by any means and it should take only a bit more effort to add the logo directly into the kit, not slap it on with a white box behind it. Even a circle would be better than the box, or a box with a border. Lazy designers, I suppose.

best of the Puma kits this year and some thought seems to have gone into the stripes design from both parties to produce something unique

Indeed, why does this need to be boxed, the colour of the font of ‘Hertings’ is like a navy colour, and there is nothing navy on the front of the kit. S**t and cheapy, that’s what it makes it look!

Indeed, boxed sponsors makes it look cheap. The colour of the font of the sponsor is like a navy colour, so cant they just remove the white “box” from around it? There’s nothing navy on the front of the kit, so it’s not exactly gonna clash with colours?

    i think it looks horrible!

It just looks like a lower league shirt imo. Like they want to get relegated.
