Brasil’s new 2008/09 kit

The new Brasilian National Football team kit for was unveilled today at Granja Comary, Rio de Janeiro - the training ground for “Seleção” games. Nike declared the kit was a tribute for the WC’58 team - Brasil’s first title in World Cup - but it had just slight signs of inspiration on them, as it shows just some few changes for the kit that was worn in WC’06: the collar, the lettering and the socks. It also has the inscription “Nascido para jogar futebol” - “born to play football” - inside the collar.

Same as always.
Not a bad thing, that.
IM SAYIN’ ANOTHER THING. WHEN I SAID TIS SHIRT RULES, I MEAN ITS OUT OF TIS WORLD!
nike are gettin borin now
It’s always nice to take creative chances once in a while but Nike should take it as a compliment that some of you think the design is boring. Nike knows better than to mess with most famous shirt in world sport. Another brilliant design - clean, crisp, and simple, using an ORIGINAL & UNIQUE template. Adidas, do you know what those are?
lol brn442 you are reading too deep into this, people want to see a slight change in the kit atleast, otherwise there is no point in buying it. and adidas make amazing kits. They even made a derby county kit look good and they only have 6 points in 18 games
It looks the same as their last one!
Its an awesome kit but i say that every year cos its always the same!!!!
i liked the ones they haved in 2002 and the ones 2004
the t-shirts are ****
i love them too much because of kaka shirt but they are not better then Englands.XXXX!!
I understand Keiran, that the main reason shirts are changed is - to get the punters in the shops. I would love to see nike experiment with adding more green perhaps. Adidas is my favorite brand but they have allowed Nike to surpass them with the creation of unique, simple, templates combined with the right balance of tradition. Funny, you mention the Derby kit - it’s has all the things you didn’t like on the Brazil shirt - simple, “unique”, traditional.
