Bournemouth Home kit 08/09
AFC Bournemouth today launched a new kit sponsorship deal with the UK’s leadin sports retailer, JD Sports. The new sponsorship package is a three year deal and as kit manufacturers and sponsors, the arrangement will see one of JD’s exclusive youth fashion brands, Carbrini Sportswear emblazoned across all home, away and replica tops and shorts.
The home shirt itself is Bournemouth’s colour of Red. There is black piping aroung the shoulders, and running down the sleeves. There is also black down the sides of the shirt. The club badge is in the centre of the chest and the makers, Cabrini, have their logo abouve the club badge in the centre of the chest. Cabrini also being the club sponsors, have their name written across the middle of the shirt. The shirt will be worn with black shorts.
The kit will be available to purchase before the start of the new season and will be worn by the team for the first time in a pre-season friendly against Portsmouth on the 21st of July

Bournemouth did indeed run a competition to design the kit but then administration happened and everything changed.
All in all a little disappointing I think. Stripes would have been nice but the sponsorship deal is a good one.
