Basque 2008-09 Home Shirt

This will be the home shirt that the Basque country will use for their home games in the period 2008-09.

The home shirt is designed by shirt designers Astore, which also designed the 2007-08 shirts for Real Sociedad and Sporting Gijon. The base colour for the shirt is green. The collar is white with red piping on the inside. The Basque emblem appears on the left. On the central part there is an enlarged Basque coat of arms, which appears in a slightly paler shade of green than the rest of the shirt. On the bottom left of the shirt, there is the badge of the Basque region, while on the bottom-right there is ‘Euskal F. Selekzioa’, another name for the Basque football team, appearing in a slanting freehand style around the enlarged coat of arms.
