Associacao Portuguesa Third Kit 2010
Associacao Portuguesa is a Brazilian Serie B team from the Sao Paolo state. They are nicknamed Lusa and play their home games in 25470-capacity Caninde stadium. The club crest consists of a green Cross of Avis, bordered by a red contour, representing the Portuguese independence from the Castile Kingdom, dating back to 1385 after the Battle of Aljubarrota. The team’s best achievement was ranking as runners-up in the 1996 Serie A championship.
The club used the voting system amongst its fans to decide its new third shirt for 2010. Four options were presented, two of which were blue, the other one orange, and the selected black shirt. The shirt, shorts and socks are all black, and the shirt has the mentioned cross in silver on the front. The shirt is manufactured by Penalty, whose logo appears at the back as well as a small one below the long black collar. The third kit has small touches of red and green on all three garments. The club is currently receiving pre-orders for the shirt.

one of the most beautiful kits i’ve ever seen nowadays. i’m also brazilian and i sympathize with Portuguesa because of its bonds with portuguese descendants, so as Vasco da Gama, the team i support. Vasco also wear Penalty kits and i hope they’ll make great work on my team next kits. while this doesn’t happen, i can admire Portuguesa incredible kits!
