Arsenal White Nike Third Shirt 2009/10
Londoners Arsenal FC have already issued their new away shirt for the 2009/10 season, where they will be hoping to improve on their 4th place finish in the Premier League and their semi-final elimination in the Champions League against Manchester United. The club administration has recently announced the acquisition of Thomas Vermaelen, a Belgian defender, from Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam. Some players took part in a photoshoot to unveil the new third shirt that the club will wear on more rare occasions than the red home shirt or the blue away shirt, in the case of colour clashes or when the club deems fit.
The new third shirt will have a white base colour, and was modelled by Eduardo, Arshavin, team captain Cesc Fabregas, Walcott and Bendtner. It has the same design elements as the newly-revealed away shirt, but the pinstripes on the third shirt are redcurrant. The shirt has a polo collar, and a label with the club name of the inside of the collar. Nike continue using their Dri-Fit fabric technology whose aim is to keep players cool and dry during matches. On the side seam, the shirt has the words Victoria Concordia Crescit (Victory through Harmony) flanked by two canons, on a red label. The shirt is complemented by anthracite grey shorts, and white socks with redcurrant pinstripes and an anthracite band. The shirt goes on sale on the 23rd July but can be pre-ordered to be delivered to your door on launch day.

Looks nice but Arsenal wearing white shirts with navy blue shorts? Ie a Spurs kit (with redcurrent stripes).

i love this kit and the away shirt….2 of the best kits ove seen in a very long time n i have no idea why ppl make out that its such a big deal that its a white shirt, just cos spurs wear white! they will be jealous cos their kit looks **** n ours looks beautiful. LONG LIVE THE PINSTRIPE!

Also cannon06, what are you on about “Spurs colours”? Arsenal have had loads of white away kits during their history. Is the “06″ part of your name a reference to when you started supporting them or something?

your all wrong on the picture, ASHTON is not reffering to anyone, it’s fictional, they just edited a picture of Blackburn’s WARNOCK tackling BENTDNER at the emirates last season, he’s in Blackburn’s navy away shirt! Change of name + darkended hair + slight change of colour kit! plus i’ve seen the origional picture!

Anyone know what colour the name and numbers will be on the back? At first I thought black, but it wouldn’t go very well with the colour scheme, and red seems a bit too out there.
for me the best Arsenal kit was the Yellow O2 away kit. it was just fantastic. proper football kit
