Arsenal Green Away Shirt for 2009/10
Rumours have been circulating about a number of shirts for next season and pretty much all of the information that has come out is starting to be proved with correct, so we are going to report some more of that information which hasn’t seen mockups be created or been confirmed with leaked photos. The first one of those is that Arsenal will wear a hunter green away shirt next season.
The colour palette says this is Hunter Green:
Looks like the only time the club have adopted these colours in their history was 1982 to 1983 when Umbro made the clubs away shirt. The colours at the time where quite a shock to fans, but now it is seen as a bit of a classic shirt. If this 2009/10 shirt follows the older ones design then it too may have blue sleeves.

i dont believe it yet but i would be a bit confused why arsenal would go from a great away kit this year to a average looking green one.

Surely, that would be like playing in camouflage. They won’t be able to see each other. But, then again, the opposition won’t know they’re there.
Or it will look like a team of goalkeepers. Maybe Almunia will wear red and white.
Rubbish, green is not an Arsenal colour and was worn then as the club had a fair few Irish players more than anything else. Yellow, blue, or white. If you wanna get creative, Frenchify it as a tribute to our boss and the french legends he created.

Worth remebering that we had terrible results in that green kit and it was scrapped early. Old saying “Blue and Green should never be seen, unless there’s something in between”.
Arsenal away shirts should be yellow.
Hope this aint true. Rang the Armoury and they said the colour for next seasons away kit is undecided.

i think the green kit is nice but id lyk to see arsenal in a dark pink colour i think it suites arsenal more than any other team in the prem

i live in toronto and i found this kit in a store the other day. it was the only one i’ve seen in toronto and i snatched it up for $70, much less than a kit usually costs. when i was asking the guy who owns the store about it, explaining how there were rumors about this kit, but in the end they went with the blue and white pinstripes for away / 3rd kit respectively, he said arsenal would wear the green kit for special occasion games. which i think is malarky.
