The home shirt is white & light blue manufactured by adidas who have their logo beneath the collar and the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino badge is on the left chest, the away shirt is a darker blue. Back in 1901 when they started playing international football Argentina wore light blue shirts, black shorts and grey socks or white shirts, shorts and grey socks. It was in 1910 that they changed to the now traditional light blue & white striped shirts, with black shorts and white socks.

I’ve just saw a more detailed foto on pesoccerworld forum , and I have to say that is a shame the lack of effort of adidas designing this model. The collar and blue-backpatch in the home shirt are digusting. The away model is fine, but is the same model of Real Madrid isn`t?

I have the home one, got to say not impressed. even though they went back to the older days, last years model was siiick. and this years model is too kiddy for me. with all the meshy stuff, and the “Argentina” behind the neck. The blue square is just stupid, with and without the numbers. the numbers all look bad plastic and as if they are gunna just peel off. the blue (away) could look good depending how the white stripes are positioned when actually on someone, but right now, the stripes look out of position. also for the home jersey, i hate the giant stitching of the AFA patch in the middle, should only be on the blue, and by this picture, i cant see it on the blue (nor the white though). in all honesty, i really think the big blue patch really destroys this jersey.

well to be honest i like both this one and the 2006 world cup jersey the same. i have both. except this one i have #10 Aguero on the back. it’s not as eye catching as the previous one but with the engravings on the front and with a name and number on the front and back, it doesn’t look that bad to be honest. many people say it and said that it looked good.
