AGF Aarhus release new shirts

Posted on May 11th, 2008 in AGF Aarhus by swji

Danish side AGF Aarhus have released images of next season’s home and away strips, produced by Hummel.

The home strip is reminiscent of Tottenham Hotspur kits of old, with a white base accompanied by a navy blue trim and nay blue hummel arrowhead symbols down the arms.

The away kit is a reverse of the home strip.

Both kits feature large sponsor logos. Both hold the ‘bricks’ logo. The home shirt features the logo of ‘Ceres’ while the waya kit features the oversized and slightly oddly-coloured logo of ‘Faxe Kondi’, a Danish softdrink.

Images of the kits are available on the club website, with the English translated link here.

Aarhus are heralded as one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Denmark. They achieved promotion to the Superliga (equivalent of the EPL) last season.

The sponsors logo on the away kit isn’t matching at all. Bad.

Spoilt by too many sponsors. Shamefully we are not too far behind we Champions League clubs having up to 5 sponsors on their kits (makers, coke, main chest, shirt back and shorts). Most of the sponsors are wasting their money as I’ve no idea who sponsors the backs of most Coke League clubs.
