Umbro announce Hull City deal

Posted on March 28th, 2007 in Hull City by 01news

Hull City shirts for the next three seasons will be produced by Umbro, which will be officially launched on April 18th.

The Tigers shirt will most likely look just like the New England shirt (from the Umbro template) but obviously in orange and black and with the tiger print down the sides under the arms instead of the lions.

Umbro Hull Shirt Announced

Simon Marsh, Umbro’s Director of Football said:

“It is with great delight that we have now added Hull City to our international portfolio of contracted teams.

In the past eighteen months we have worked hard to implement our strategy of creating geographical representation within the United Kingdom. To add Hull City is fantastic news for the brand and it was evident from the outset that both parties had a desire to find a solution and I’m therefore delighted that this was achieved for an initial three year period.

All of us at Umbro hope this is a platform for the club to go onto achieve greater success and ultimately achieve the clubs long term objective of competing in the top flight of English football.”
