United States of America Third Shirt

You don’t often see a third kit from international teams but USA will be wearing one in their friendly against Ecuador in Tampa Bay, Florida on 25th March. I do remember Wales having a Kappa shirt in 2005/06 which was dark blue and had white & red stripes down one side as their third strip.

Back in the 1980’s the USA had royal blue home shirts, nowadays they usually play at home wearing white whilst the away shirt is dark blue and now this new USA third shirt is in royal blue and has white pinstripes. See the picture on the right. It is embroidered on the left chest with the US Soccer Men’s National Team crest logo and the Nike swoosh design trademark is on the upper right chest.

The new Nike manufactured shirt wicks sweat away from the body and has raised nodes on the underside that lift it away from the players’ body which reduces cling and keeps their skin drier. It is 100% polyester and features breathable weave side panels to keep players cool.
